Alexandre Couture Gagnon is Assistant Professor in the Department of Public Affairs and Security Studies at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. She earned her Ph.D. in Public Policy at the School of Public Policy and Administration at Carleton University in Ottawa. Her research is focused on public policy in minority nations, especially Québec and Catalonia, that have been seeking more legitimacy since the mid-20th century. Her research has been published in scholarly journals and as book chapters.
