Katriina Campitelli is a researcher and culture manager working in Toronto, Canada. She has been educated in Canada, France, and Italy, most recently earning her Master of Cultural Diplomacy and Global Communications degree from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Rome. Her education and subsequent placement with the Royal Ontario Museum led her to conduct research on Toronto’s city diplomacy, particularly exploring how cultural initiatives can support international collaboration, communication, and tourism.
With nearly a decade of cultural project experience, she has administered arts and festival grants, consulted on strategic plans for cultural institutions, and completed audience market research for major international art festivals. Katriina is currently the Arts Program Officer for the City of Toronto, where she produces public arts and culture events, researches cultural policy development, and has organized international visiting exhibitions from Japan and Albania. She continues to advocate for meaningful dialogue, collaborative cultural projects, and goal-focused policy.
