Join Sarah E.K. Smith and guests at the Global Centre for Pluralism in Ottawa for a discussion of art, free trade, and North American relationships.

The Carleton Centre for Public History and the Embassy of Mexico in Canada are thrilled to partner with the Global Centre for Pluralism in Ottawa to host an event in celebration of Sarah E.K. Smith’s book Trading on Art: Cultural Diplomacy and Free Trade in North America.

The author will be joined by discussants Dr. Rachelle Dickenson, Associate Curator, Indigenous Art Indigenous Ways and Decolonization at the National Gallery of Canada and Ingrid Berlanga, Cultural Attaché at the Embassy of Mexico.

Please join us for a discussion of the book addressing cultural diplomacy, free trade, and Canada-Mexico relations. This event is free and open to the public.
