Louisa Collins

Louisa Collins is a researcher, musician and the Founder of the Cultural Relations Collective – a new organization, promoting global cultural relations, via non-state actors, using the power of the arts.

Collins earned a Masters degree in Global Diplomacy from SOAS University of London, where she was invited to present her dissertation research in 2018, which focused on the future of cultural diplomacy and cultural relations, and the role of non-state actors within the evolving field. Collins is continuing to develop this research both through the Cultural Relations Collective and while currently working as an Associate Tutor on the Cultural Diplomacy course at SOAS, which is part of the MA Global Diplomacy. Louisa is also designing and developing the course alongside Dr. Simon Rofe, a cultural diplomacy specialist based as SOAS.

Having worked in international NGO management for the past 8 years, Louisa additionally works as a Strategy Consultant with San Francisco based arts, technology and cultural diplomacy non-profit ZERO1.

Collins is also an active singer, songwriter and pianist, currently working on a new album to be released in 2019. Citing her musical style as somewhere between Jazz, Gospel, Soul, Funk and Hip Hop, she has had two singles released previously in Europe.
