NACDI Collaborator Katriina Campitelli presents her essay “Insights on Cultural Diplomacy: Toronto’s Global Partnerships for Arts and Culture.” This essay, which was prepared for her Master in Cultural Diplomacy at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, analyzes the current state of Toronto’s International Alliance Program and explores opportunities for improving the functionality of the City’s global affairs. Katriina advocates for shifting towards international dialogue and cultural ventures, instead one-way proclamations, in order to truly demonstrate Toronto’s potential as a global city.
